Where does it originate from?

President George H.W. Bush declared November National American Indian Heritage Month (aka Native American Heritage Month) in 1990.  It was established to pay respect to Native Americans, and an opportunity to learn about and celebrate their culture and way of life.

  • Learning about and honoring tribes in your area and across the U.S.
