Bella’s Recipe for Success

Bella wants to be good at something like her siblings. She decides she will be a good baker. With her Abuela’s help she begins by making polvorones with dulce de leche. The first time she tries it doesn’t turn out good at all. Bella gets discouraged, but then sees her siblings struggle and mess up with the things they are good at. She realizes that you can always try again. After multiple attempts her polvorones turned out delicious!

This is a story about the power of continuing to work hard, practice, and never being afraid to try again! It also infuses culture and Spanish words throughout.
