Spork

Spork is a cute story about a spork, but on a deeper level a lighthearted metaphor for being biracial. Spork’s mom is a spoon and his dad is a fork and he constantly gets the question, “What are you?” He has trouble fitting in and knowing what his place in life is. One day something very messy comes to the table. It throws food, it won’t use the proper utensils, and it doesn’t follow common etiquette. It needed spork. Finally, Spork found his place in life, and on the table.
