Peyton Picks the Perfect Pie

This is such a cute book! Peyton is a picky eater, but she doesn’t want to be. For her family’s annual Thanksgiving party she makes the goal of trying a new food. The food she picks is pie. As her family starts arriving she inspects all the different pies that she sees: lemon chess pie, ruffled milk pie, Mississippi mud pie, Boston cream pie, and many more. Peyton is nervous, but finally decides to taste her mom’s apple pie. She likes it! And, more importantly she is encouraged to try more.

This is the perfect book for Thanksgiving, trying new foods, and budding bakers. It also features an apple pie recipe in the back and the book is published by the award winning cooking company America’s Test Kitchen.
